Utrujj, founded by Shaykh Haytham Tamim, is an Islamic educational institute that has been serving the UK Muslim community since 2001. Our work is rooted in authentic scholarship, showing how traditional Islamic wisdom can help us deal with the realities of modern life.

Our Values
By the grace of Allah, he has been disseminating traditional Islamic learning in the UK for over two decades.
With more than 30 years of expertise across major schools of thought and Islamic disciplines, his unbroken chain of scholarship (29 links) traces directly back to the Prophet ﷺ. He has studied under some of the most distinguished scholars of our time and holds some of the highest Ijazahs in the Quran, Hadith, and Fiqh.
